Welcome to GoodCoop. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GoodCoop website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service") operated by GoodCoop ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@goodcoop.app if you suspect unauthorized use.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
GoodCoop Pro is offered as a recurring monthly subscription at the price displayed at checkout. New subscribers may receive a 14-day free trial; you will not be charged until the trial ends. Subscriptions automatically renew each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your Account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you will retain access until then. Payments are processed by our payment provider; applicable taxes are calculated and collected at checkout.
5. Refunds
Except where required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at hello@goodcoop.app.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service.
- Submit content that is harmful, abusive, infringing, or misleading.
- Use the Service to generate content that violates the rights of others.
- Resell or redistribute Service output without our written permission.
7. AI-Generated Content
GoodCoop provides AI-powered guidance for backyard chicken keeping, including general health, nutrition, husbandry, and coop management. This information is educational and should not replace the advice of a licensed avian veterinarian for illness diagnosis or treatment. For urgent health concerns, please consult a vet. GoodCoop is not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated content.
8. Your Content
You retain ownership of the prompts, notes, and content you submit. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and display your content solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you submit.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, branding, and original content, is owned by GoodCoop and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without our written permission.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. You may delete your account at any time from your Account page or by emailing hello@goodcoop.app.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoodCoop and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which GoodCoop is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
